Our Head Office is home to the following departments:

Actuarial
Providing Actuarial and Technical support across the business, the Actuarial Division includes Capital Management, Actuarial Modelling and Technical Services and is part of the overall Group Finance function. Meet members of our team

Compliance
By ensuring we meet Prudential Regulation Authority and Financial Conduct Authority regulations regarding the development, marketing, selling and servicing of our products, the Compliance department plays a key role in enabling the Society and our subsidiaries to achieve business goals. 

Corporate Audit
Providing independent and objective assurance on adherence to internal systems and controls, the Corporate Audit team ensures a systematic approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

Corporate Planning
Providing Business Planning, Change Management, Programme Office and Business Improvement expertise, Corporate Planning supports the executive team in developing strategy and business plans and takes a central role in the coordination of the business change and improvement needed to deliver these plans.

Customer Services
As well as responding to customer enquiries through our Customer Relationship Centre (CRC), Customer Services process and issue new business, and handle policy claims for our products.

Financial Accounts
Ensuring that financial accounting records are properly maintained, and that payments and receipts are properly controlled, this department also produces the statutory accounts and Prudential Regulation Authority and Financial Conduct Authority Returns for the Society. Meanwhile, the Payroll team ensures that the Society's payrolls are processed in accordance with specified timetables, Society policies and current legislation.

General Insurance
Our in-house General Insurance brokerage service provides our customers with a range of home, motor, travel, surgery and office insurance services.

Human Resources (HR)
Offering expertise in all areas of resourcing, retention, training and development, employee relations, pay, benefits and internal policies, HR plays a key role in the communication and strategic implementation of internal change. The team works closely with managers to determine the most appropriate ways to proactively manage the business and move it forward.

Investments (Fund Management)
Responsible for the Society's assets - amounting to approximately £5.2 billion - this department's role is to maximise the long-term return for a range of funds subject to an appropriate level of risk and allowing for any actuarial constraints.

IT 
Managing the ongoing delivery of application systems and IT services across the business, this department employs industry best-practice to support the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and deliver the essential IT elements of both tactical and strategic business change.

Management Accounts
To provide assurance that costs are effectively controlled and benefits are delivered, this team monitors strategic initiatives and suggests ways of improving profit through additional income generation and cost control improvements.

Marketing
With expertise in product development, brand management, PR and internal communications, events planning and research, the Marketing team is responsible for the development and delivery of the Society's customer proposition through an integrated marketing strategy for each of our business segments. 

Risk
Independently challenging other business areas on the identification, assessment and management of key risks, this team is also responsible for ensuring that the Society complies with anti-money laundering regulations and guidance, information security, data protection and business continuity management.

Sales Operations
This department provides key support functions to the Wesleyan Sales force. This includes sales force remuneration, management information development, reporting and analysis, client and policy information, Financial Consultant queries, sales force communications, and sales process maintenance and development. 

Sales Relationship Centre
As well as booking first appointments on behalf of our Financial Consultants, the team also undertakes case preparation for them and makes regular contact with customers.

Technical Services
We offer a range of services to our Financial Consultants and Head Office departments, all with a focus on ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations affecting Wesleyan's products and the way in which they are sold and administered. For example, we provide technical advice and guidance as well as reviewing customer-facing communications. We also analyse legislative and regulatory developments, with a focus on changes arising from HMRC, DWP and the Pensions Regulator.

Wesleyan Bank
With a dedicated team of UK based personal bankers, Wesleyan Bank offers a high quality, friendly and efficient banking service for professionals. It offers a full range of products and services including savings accounts and personal loans.
